En. Gwee merupakan anggota utama lembaga pengurus Sekolah Menengah Chung Hua Port Dickson yang menolak cadangan penukaran sistem sekolah, kesannya mengakibatkan penurunan pendaftaran murid. Walau bagaimanapun, di bawah pimpinan beliau, keadaan sekolah tersebut beransur pulih sehingga mencapai skala dan status hari ini. Kesemua ini adalah usaha En. Gwee dan orang-orang yang berjasa.
Mr. Gwee was the leading member of Port Dickson Chung Hua Middle School’s board of management, who refused to convert the school system, resulting in a decrease in enrollment. However, he led the school back on track and gradually developed it to its present scale and status. All these are attributable to the efforts of the late Mr. Gwee among many others.
