About Us and Donation (LLG Run)

LLG Cultural Development Centre was formed in 1985 to commemorate the most respected Chinese educationist in Malaysia, Mr. Lim Lian Geok. It was the date Mr. Lim Lian Geok passed away and regarded as ‘Chinese education festival’ by Chinese educationists.

LLG aims to promote the spirit of Mr. Lim Lian Geok, which is, bravely struggle and sacrifice for cultural rights particularly equitable position of mother tongue education and never surrender to those possess power

We initiated various fund raising activities since 2007 to build Mr. Lim Lian Geok’s memorial and educate public on his contribution on multiculturalism in the country. In the future, the memorial will become a centre for cultural and civil society activities to deepen the concept of multiculturalism and cultural rights through organizing academic conference, publication of books and various trainings on humanistic, democracy, civic education and others

LLG Cultural Development Centre Berhad will be organising a “LLG Run” on  Sunday 28^th October 2012 at National Stadium, Bukit Jalil. It is co-organized by Taman Bukit Jalil Running Club and we are targeting approximately 5,000 runners to take part in the event.

We are looking for sponsorship from the public and commercial sector. We would be most grateful if you would consider supporting the run in contribution of any kinds.   Your support will ensure the success of this meaningful and healthy activity.

3	Bronze Sponsor RM5,000 or above	The sponsor’s logo will be printed on 500pcs of T-shirts The sponsor will be provided with a tent to promote and to sell it’s products The sponsor’s logo will be printed on event billboard, E-certificate and entry form (by 5/5/12) The sponsor will receive a souvenir from organizer
4	Ribbon Cutter RM1,000 or above	The Sponsor will be invited to join the ribbon cutting ceremony at the event The sponsor will receive a souvenir from organizer
5	Sponsor RM500  or above	The Sponsor will be the sponsor for the event
6	Donation of any amount is welcome
