Organized by Chinese Assembly Hall and Lim Lian Geok Cultural Development Centre, an epic musical dance drama named 《Rolling Thunder》will be staged on 18th & 19th December 2010 in Chinese Assembly Hall. This performance which includes songs, dances and poems is to salute the leaders of Chinese community in the 70’s and 80’s. Besides, it is also to summarize what our elders had done within these 20 years and to raise fund for Lim Lian Geok Cultural Development Centre.
Since our independence till the late 80’s, it was the era when our nation and the Chinese community developed. Many had contributed for what we have now. They had struggled hard for building the community that we seen now with their hands. During the performance, by taking scenes of important incidents, linking with songs and dances, the actual history of 70’sand 80’s will be presented on stage.
